Loosing stomach fat can be difficult, but keeping it there, can be even more devastating. Studies show that people who have more belly fat, as opposed to those that carry fat in their hips and thighs, are more likely to have cardio problems, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. This is a really scary thought. This is why it is so important to lose that stomach fat.
If you are finally frustrated from all the fad diets, and the quick fixes, that don’t work, then its time to really work on loosing that stomach fat in earnest.
There are a few good things you can do to start changing your eating habits. You need to eliminate sugar and processed foods from your diet. Start eating more vegetables and fruits, and whole grains. Eat smaller quantities, and start planning your meals.
Carbs, contrary to what you believe are not bad. You are just getting the wrong kinds of carbs. In fact, when loosing stomach fat, studies show that eating whole grain breads and pastas help in the loosing stomach fat process. Whole grain breads, pastas, beans, and legumes help you feel fuller for longer periods of time.
Another key element in losing stomach fat, which most people ignore, no matter how many times it is mentioned, is the importance of a good breakfast. We cannot stress enough how important breakfast is, because it gets your metabolism running and you feel fuller for the rest of the day, therefore you eat less at other meals.
